Career Guidance - Vocational Counselling (Upon Request)

    Total Duration 2,5 hours
  • 1 hour - Computer - based testing
  • 1,5 hours - One to one discussion of the Test results and Career Counselling by certified psychologists
  • Method: Ariston Psychometrics

The ARISTON series of tests are based on advanced psychometric methodologies and mathematical models with the aim to analyse the personality of an individual for vocational counseling in order to identify the profession / occupation.

ARISTON test is using an advanced Expert System which is based on research work that has been funded by the European Union and Governmental Bodies.
When we refer to an "expert system" we imply advanced software and specialized knowledge regarding personality types, special aptitudes and abilities, and corresponding work environments. The software produces a report automatically, following extensive analyses of the answers you give online.
The knowledge contained in the expert database is classified by age, gender, academic departments, occupations and specializations, and is based on extensive analyses of thousands of professionals and young people. In other words, the test has been verified and validated on a very large sample of real cases. The results of the report produced can be used to support tasks related to personality analysis, vocational counseling and human resources management.
    More specifically, the results can:
  • Identify hidden talents, professional inclinations, aptitudes, abilities, and special features of your personality.
  • Verify whether your personality can cope with the requirements of specific work environments or specializations that requires University education.
  • Verify the practiced profession and the degree to which this is compatible with the personality of the individual.
  • Identify alternative vocational interests and occupational areas that are fully compatible with your personality.
  • Support tasks concerning recruitment, transfer and promotion, area of specialisation, placement in departments, vocational and career counseling, and general human resources management.

  • This test is based on state of the art theory for testing cognitive abilities using spatial and diagrammatic reasoning, beyond the Cattell-Horn-Carroll theory of cognitive abilities and the Wechsler scales, which evolve around the traditional approach that includes language and mathematical abilities. The test identifies those realms of thought where the subject appears to have learning difficulties, problems in assimilating new information beyond previous experience and reasoning. Assessing the ability to quickly understand and assimilate new information we can predict how responsive to education and training the person will be. The test is independent of attainment and can be used to provide an indication of intellectual potential.

The large glass panes beautifully draw in the ancient and modern parts of the city, making it a truly evocative experience. It is the perfect sanctuary for the ancient artefacts that were found in and around the Acropolis and successfully deconstructs how the Parthenon sculptures once looked to the citizens of ancient Athens. The remnants are of an ancient neighbourhood that once thrived, complete with a drainage system, bathhouses and mosaics.

    Cycladic Museum

Τhe Museum of Cycladic Art is dedicated to the study and promotion of ancient cultures of the Aegean and Cyprus, with special emphasis on Cycladic Art of the 3rd millennium BC. It was founded in 1986, to house the collection of Nicholas and Dolly Goulandris. Over 3,000 artifacts of Cycladic, Ancient Greek and Cypriot Art, testifying to the cultures that flourished in the Aegean and the Eastern Mediterranean from the 4th millennium BC to the 6th c. AD, are displayed on the four floors of the permanent collections.

    Benaki Museum

The Benaki Museum of Greek Culture is housed in one of the most beautiful neoclassical-style buildings in Athens, near the National Garden and the Hellenic Parliament. It was converted into a museum in order to shelter the collections of Antonis Benakis and was donated to the Greek nation by himself and his three sisters, Alexandra, Penelope and Argine. Following its most recent refurbishment (1989–2000), the building houses a unique exhibition on Greek culture arranged diachronically from prehistory to the 20th century.

The museum houses Greek works of art from the prehistorical to the modern times, an extensive collection of Asian art, hosts periodic exhibitions and maintains a state-of-the-art restoration and conservation workshop. Although the museum initially housed a collection that included Islamic art, Chinese porcelain and exhibits on toys, its 2000 re-opening led to the creation of satellite museums that focused on specific collections, allowing the main museum to focus on Greek culture over the span of the country's history.

A respite from urban concrete, the Park provides opportunities for learning, recreation, rest, and new experiences.
The Stavros Niarchos Park offers many surprises to its visitors. Its lush garden landscape, featuring a wide range of trees, plants, water fountains, allées, paths, playgrounds and open spaces, turns every visit into a unique experience. Herodion - Theatre of Herodes Atticus

One of the legendary sites that sits beneath the slopes of the Acropolis on the southwest side, is the stunning open-air theatre, Odeon of Herodes Atticus. In ancient times, Odeons were built for musical contests and this ancient stone theatre has gone on to host some of the world’s best musical performances during the last 60 years since its modern day re-opening, including Nana Mouskouri, Luciano Pavarotti and Frank Sinatra to name a few. Widely known by locals as simply “Herodeon”, it was built between 160AD – 174AD by the wealthy benefactor of Athens, Herodes Atticus as an ode to his late wife Rigilla. It was the third Odeon to be built in Athens and was distinctively Roman in contrast to the nearby Theatre of Dionysos. With its Roman arches and three story stage building, it was originally partly covered with a wood and tiled roof. The circular orchestra has now become a semi-circle, paved with black and white marble. With 35 rows, the marble auditorium extends slightly beyond a semi-circle with a diameter of 80 metres and today seats 4680 people.
